JON VOLKMER
Jon Volkmer is a Professor of English at Ursinus College, where he oversees the creative writing program. Jon has an MA in creative writing from the University of Denver, and a PhD in literature from the University of Nebraska. He is the author of a poetry collection, The Art of Country Grain Elevators (Bottom Dog Press), a travel memoir, Eating Europe: A Meta-Nonfiction Love Story (Parlor Press), and a young adult biography of Roberto Clemente (Townsend Press). His poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction have appeared in such venues as Parnassus, Prairie Schooner, Painted Bride Quarterly, Hellas, The Carolina Quarterly, Seattle Review, and Texas Review. He lives in Telford with his wife, Janet.
